CROSS COUNTRY

Hey dudes,
As you probably know from my last post about cross country that I really like it and win quite often. This cross country I was a bit more nervous because I haven't been doing as much training because I wasn't playing soccer. So I thought the whole race that I was going to come 2nd or 3rd. But I was leading the whole way with a kid called, Kayla on my tail. It was VERY challenging on the last hundred metres because I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired and Kayla was coming up fast. But (Amazingly and Awesomely) I came 1st. (I'm not sure if Amazingly and Awesomely and words but who cares) When I crossed the finish line I collapsed ( Don't worry I wasn't unconscious) and refused to get back up until about 5 minutes pasted. My mum presented me with a plastic gold medal which I bit while people were taking photos of me. That day was pretty awesome and I am looking forward to interschool (which I plan to win!)

ADDIN' DETAIL

In our class we are leaning to add detail to simple sentances. This is an example...
The dog barked. and this is my version of it...

The ferocious, black Pit-Bull jumped and pinned me to the ground. I struggled to get free but it held me down harder. I noticed that white foam was pouring from its mouth. I had never been so scared in my life. My heart boomed louder and louder, and the dog’s eyes got redder and redder. Suddenly, I heard a car drive past. The dog turned its head to look. I pushed it’s furry, black chest up and it fell to the ground and wiggled. It stood up and I thought it was going to attack me again. But all of a sudden it let out a loud, scary and giant bark. It echoed down the street and sounded like a lion’s enormous roar. Terrified, I ran the opposite way to the dog, towards my house. It surprisingly didn’t chase me but it just stood there staring at me. Creepy, I thought because that was the word of the day.

FRACTIONS

...Uh, what should i do... Something to do with school. I know, Pizza! I want a LARGE fraction of pizza. Aha! that is something to do with school. FRACTIONS!!! Here is a reasonable question for me to do, to show you how to do this. (uh does that make sense?) 1/4 + 2/3=

I am a bit rusty on this subject but I think I will be able to tell you the answer. You first have to figure out what both of these denominators fit into. 12 is that number because 3 times 4 = 12. So that means the denominator of the answer is 12. Now we look at the whole of the fraction. What is a common fraction of 2/3. The lowest one is 4/6, but that does not fit into 1/4 so lets go a bit higher. How about 8/12, Yep that fits in to 1/4. (if that makes sense!) now what is a common fraction to 1/4, what about 3/12. That is perfect. So now we have the same denominator the question would be written like this, 3/12 + 8/12= Now that is easier. (finally!) Obviously the answer is 11/12!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

HOLI'S

Now now children, I am going to tell you about the amzing BOB and her year 6, term 2 holiday. There once was a nice young girl with amazing looks and her nick name was BOB. (cool nick name aye) Okay, now I will tell you the story... well, it's not really a story it's sort of... a blogger post about BOB'S holiday. It started on Friday at 3 o'clock percisly and all the children came running out of their class rooms, happy to have 2 weeks away from the horrible place SCHOOL. (DA DA DA DUH) Well room 15 didn't go out of the room for a little while because we got to chose what leftovers (from our shared lunch YUM) we could could scavenge and gobble before any of our family could. So off I was skipping along with a tissue in my hand with chocolate log, crackers and a extra dose of... yep you knew it DORITOS!!!!!! They are the most DELICIOUS treat EVER KNOWN!!!!!! Well anyway after I got into my dad's car we went home and yeah we didn't do much, we just sorta hung around and you know had dinner and my brother was with two of his friends in his room getting ready for a par-tay. After friday it was saturday as you know we just hung around, okay not much of a holiday but I like hanging around, alright? Anyway, after all my hanging around I finally went outside with my scooter and scootered down to the BMX track and had a few jams. I know the BMX track is not for scooters it is for BMX bikes but really who cares? When I went on My 6th jam I felt a vibration in my pocket so I pulled out what was vibrating and it said 'FROM DAD, Come home now plz' So off I went to my house and yeah just hang around and yeah there is really nothing else to say about saturday. Sunday, well this day was different. At like 9 o'clock I went to have breakfast at 'momento' with my step mum and had the most fulling breaky I've ever had. Then we went to 'CENTRE PLACE' and got a hoodie for my eldest step brother, Dlyan. But after that we went to the 2 dollar shop and bought the most precious thing I have, THUMPER.

KALEIDOSCOPE ART

Hey guys, it's BOB. This is my Kaleidoscope art. It is really easy to make cause all it is, is cutting, spinning and glueing. First we had to separate two pieces of paper because 1 piece of paper was a reflection and the other was a rotation of the photo. If you look at my art work you will see that the photo I made it with is a close up photo of... A SPIDER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just looking at my art FREAKS ME OUT!!!!

Here is a photo of it. (don't scare yourself)

You had to cut a reflected photo of this and you also had to cut out a rotated photo too. then you had to place them in a strange pattern. Like for mine I put all the CREEPY eyes in the middle like a circle. That ended up going pretty well, but then we had to do the glueing and THAT DIN'T END UP WELL. It slided across the page and I lost some pieces and I had ALOT of white patches.(Unlike my friend azhar who had no white patches AT ALL) But anyway I guess it was pretty cool.

Brainiac's Animation

Howdy folks, Since it's the holi's (Yaaaaaaaaaaay) and my parents are still working (ohhhhhhhhhh) I have to go to a holiday programme. Dad wanted to choose a holiday programme that I would be interested in, like computers or sport. Then he found the perfect programme, Brainiacs!!! It is a programme where you do computer animation and at lunch you do REAL sporty stuff. It was held at Ham west School where two other programmes were. One programme was joint to us and did music sort of stuff and the other one was the YMCA. So on my first day I sort a didn't want to do anything because i didn't know anyone but everyone else seemed to know each other. Then a familiar face came to the door. It was one of my last year friends, Caleb. I don't really want to be typing all night so I'll make a long story short. We buddied up to make a computer animation movie. But he spewed up in interval and had to go home, so that left me off to try and finished the movie. Caleb didn't come back the next day so I had to work all alone and almost finished it. I ended up calling it 'THE FISH WITH A DODGE BALL' witch I know is weird. Then a kid named Emile (E-me-ill) made a REALLY catchy tune for his movie 'I love camping' Within seconds everybody and I mean EVERYBODY was singing the annoying tune. The next day which was Wednesday Caleb turned up and FINALLY helped me finish off our movie. Then all of a sudden... I had a brainwave of an AWESOME catchy tune and here it is... 'THE FISH WITH A DODGE BALL, Bang Bang THE FISH WITH A DODGE BALL, Bang Bang THE FISH WITH A DODGE BALL... NON STOP... bob' We made that our credit song and also an opening song. Now everybody was singing THE FISH WITH A DODGE BALL. It was great. On the last day which was today we made some clay mation video's with red VS blue. After that all the Brainiacs went outside and into the class of the music peoples. They showed us their songs and sang them to us. It was pretty cool. Then They came to our classroom and we showed them our videos. After that we all went outside and sat on some steps waiting for Mark (the BOSS) to give out some prizes. The first prize was for the music peps. The second prize was for the most annoying and catchy tune and I hoped it was for me but there was a chance it could be for Emile. Suddenly he said "it goes to Bailey and The Fish with a dodge ball!!!" All of a sudden everyone was singing it and I got up and claimed my prize. Unfortunately it was just a... well a pen. Anyway it was fun after the prizes we had a lolly scramble then Reece (the music teacher) came up to us with a rubbish bag full of... BIG BAGS OF CHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I helped myself to that. And yeah after all of that all we did was play Manhunt and play on computers.

Over All it was AWESOMENESS (but not and AWESOMENESS as my AWESOMENESS blog)
